Access Carina with JupyterLab

Starting JupyterLab on Carina On-Prem

Please follow these instructions to access your interactive JupyterHub interface. 

1. Make sure that you are connected to the full-tunnel Stanford VPN,
2. Open a web browser (Chrome, Firefox preferred) and connect to the shared Carina On-Premise compute environment (www.onprem.carina.stanford.edu). 
3. If this is the first time you're accessing these resources, you will be asked to authenticate with your Stanford email: <your-sunet>@stanford.edu and approve a duo-push notification. Replace <your-sunet> by your sunet ID - do not use your alias. 
4. After a few seconds, you will see a JupyterLab environment displaying a menu of applications available to you.
